Maybelline Eye Shadow Quad in "Chai Latte"

This is a great basic brown quad.  All the colors are matte-ish (the white color is slightly shimmery but hardly) except for an extremely metallic shimmery bronze, which I find myself using more than all the matte colors combined.  All in all, a good find!

Wet N Wild Ultimate Expressions Eye Shadow palette in "Paradise Cove"

Paradise Cove is a very fun versatile purple palette with some neutral shimmery shades in there for your inner corner or brow bone.  I don't wear this often, but I do wear the Wet N Wild Ultimate Expressions palette in "Sandcastle" all the time.  I guess it's all about color preference!

Maybelline EyeStudio Quad in "Green With Envy"

This is a fabulous quad--and my favorite green eye shadow I own.  The antique gold color really evens out the green so it doesn't look too crazy, and the colors are silky smooth and well pigmented.  Definitely buy this!  It would go especially nice on golden or olive undertones.  The darkest green color is almost an exact dupe of NYX Smokie Mountain.

Maybelline Eye Shadow Quad in "Enchanted Forest"

This is a good neutral green-brown quad.  I absolutely love it.  The green and brown are very pigmented for drugstore eye shadow, so you get your buck's worth!

Milani Eye Shadow Quad in "Wild Violets"

This is a fun purple quad.  The pigmentation is good, but the colors are just too purple for me.  However, if purple is your thing, go for it!

Wet N Wild Color Icon Palette in "Pride"

Wow!  For an extremely cheap price, these 6 shadows seriously deliver!  The color pigmentation and texture are excellent.  In "Pride", you have six shades, three matte and three shimmery.  The colors are essentially the same, just some are matte and some aren't.  A great find!

Maybelline EyeStudio Quad in "Legendary Lilac"

I love the Maybelline EyeStudio eye shadows.  The pigmentation and texture is great.  This is a great sparkly eye palette, and the colors are really remarkable.  I'd definitely recommend if you like lots of purple!

Maybelline Stylish Smokes Eye Shadow Quad in "Amethyst Smokes"

This is a fun pigmented purple quad, and pretty good quality for drugstore eye shadow.  I find NYX carries the best eye shadows (especially the singles), but Maybelline is a good drugstore version of that.  Amethyst Smokes is a quad with a shimmery pigmented vibrant purple, a more dusty matte purple, a shimmery white, and a sparkly black.

L'Oreal Studio Secrets Professional Color Smokes Eye Shadow in "Lavender Smokes"

"Lavender smokes" is a collection of warm purple/brown shades that combine to create a sexy, smokey purple eye which complements brown eye colors.  I tried it on my own brown eyes, and I thought it looked nice, but I was disappointed at how the vibrant dark purple showed up--it just looked sort of grayish and boring, when it looks so interesting in the pan.  The light purple color hardly shows up at all.

NYX The Runway Collection Champagne and Caviar

This is my favorite NYX palette so far--it's perfect for creating subtle to striking smokey eye looks.  The colors would be flattering on any complexion because they're all neutral, very taupey.  Some are shimmery, and some are matte.  The black eye shadow is your classic matte black, perfect for the outer corner with smokey eye styles.

NYX For Your Eyes Only Mysterious Brown Eyes

I got this palette because I have brown eyes and I thought this would help enhance them.  To be honest, I'm not totally crazy about the colors, but the bright green is kind of fun, and it's not a common color to find.  The shadows are fairly silky (the light purple is a tad chalky but it's still a nice shade) and I think this is a great palette if you want to create subtle smokey purple looks.  However, purple doesn't look that great on me, so I'm kind of up in the air about this one.  If you like shimmery colors, this is good, because a lot of these colors are shimmery, minus the matte dark brown.

ELF Beauty Encyclopedia Sparkle Eye Edition

This is an okay palette.  Luckily, it's only $5, so if you don't like it, you haven't wasted much money.  These eye shadows are a mixed bag.  The first four are chalky and not pigmented at all.  The second four are slightly more pigmented, and not nearly as chalky as the first four, but they wear off quickly.  The last four are very similar to the second four, except the black, which is essentially permanent, and extremely dark.  When I wiped my arm, all of the eye shadows disappeared except the sparkly black.
